CALLING ALL FILIPINO YOUTH ORGANIZATION TO JOIN TAYO 10!


Isang dekada na TAYO! 

Since 2002, the Search for Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO) has grown to become the only award-giving program that recognizes and honors the most important youth organization contributions of our time.

The Search is open to all groups, organizations, clubs or societies composed of at least 15 members who are 15-30 years old. Organizations shall be judged based on their project entrythat made an impact in their schools or communities.

A copy of the entry form and application briefer are attached to this email. They may also be downloaded from the websites of the National Youth Commission (www.nyc.gov.ph) and the TAYO Awards Foundation (www.tayoawards.net).  Alternatively, you may send your entries online via www.tayoawards.net.

A grand prize of Php 50,000 and a specially-crafted trophy await the lucky organizations chosen as one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations.
Kaya sali na! Unti-unti, sama-sama, iTAYO natin ang pagbabago!

National Youth Commission's 1st BLOGFEST

Hi everyone!!!


We are inviting bloggers to our (NYC) first BLOGFEST.  This is open to all bloggers and media writers who can help us promote our projects and programs for the Filipino youth. 



As part of the campaign to reach a wider sector of its target audience, the National Youth Commission is inviting new media writers to the 1st NYC BlogFest, a Bloggers Dinner with the NYC Officials on October 26, 2011 (Wednesday) at H Cuisine located in Scout Rallos St, Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The NYC, through its officials, will present the agency’s programs and projects about and for the Filipino youth. Program starts at 6:00 PM. Due to the limited space of the venue, priority seating will be given to those who will confirm their attendance before October 26. Hi fellow bloggers! Do you want to go to Japan or you have relatives 16 to 18 years of age, our office is now accepting application for our JENESYS PROGRAMME! Please read our press release if you are interested!!!!!

JENESYS PROGRAMME APPLICATION NOW OPEN

The National Youth Commission is pleased to announce that the “10-day Visit to Japan Programme” of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme is now open to all applicants for Student Ambassadors and Supervisors.

The JENESYS Programme is an all-expense-paid cultural trip to Japan and is funded by the Japanese Government through the Japan International Cultural Center (JICC) of the Embassy of Japan in Manila and the Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE).

This programme is carried out in partnership with the ASEAN Secretariat to deepen the delegates’ understanding of the different facets of the Japanese society including politics, diplomacy, economics, and culture and to form the basis of future vision and construct firm solidarity among Asian countries which will promote mutual understanding of the future generation of ASEAN and East Asia Summit member countries.

184 student ambassadors, who are 16 to 18 years old, and 16 supervisors, who are 30 to 50 years old, from all the regions of the country will be selected through a rigorous selection process.

Interested applicants may visit www.youth.net.ph to download the entry forms and the complete list of qualifications and requirements. All applications must be addressed to the JENESYS Programme Secretariat of the National Youth Commission c/o Ms. Marielou Chua, 4th Floor, Bookman Building, 373 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City or the NYC Area Offices not later than 5:00 p.m. on or before December 3, 2010.

2009 Youth Choice Awards!

The search for 2009 Youth Choice Awards is officially on.




Voting is open to all young Filipinos aged 15-30. Twelve awards are at stake:

Voting via online will end on June 21, 2009 at 5:00 in the afternoon. Winners will be announced during the celebration of NYC's 14th Anniversary at the OSCH Auditorium.

Now on its seventh year, the search for Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO 7) is hailed as the country's leading search for outstanding groups of young Filipinos that are instrumental in the development of the country through simple, worthwhile and notable projects implemented in their communities.



The search is open to all groups, organizations, clubs or societies composed of at least 15 members. Members must be 15 to 30 years old. Organizations shall be judged based on their project entry that made an impact in their schools or communities.

In an effort to improve the search and allow for more viable entries to the search, the organizers have come up with a new format for the requirements and a streamlined process to come up with the finalists.

A copy of the entry form and the application briefer are attached to this email. They may also be downloaded through the TAYO Awards Foundation website (www.tayoawards. net) and the National Youth Commission website (www.youth.net. ph).

A grand prize of P50, 000 and a specially-crafted trophy await the lucky organizations chosen as one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations.
