Another hobby?

Why not? I just have to stay away eating what I bake (haha!)  I am so happy that I can actually bake.  Mind you, I am into collecting recipes, cook book and the likes but never tried to bake or cook until two weeks ago!

I made cupcakes last two weeks ago too, and I tell you it was a hit.  I am so proud of myself!  The hubby ate almost of the cupcakes, what can I say.

Way to go in baking in 2012 but surely I must watch the weight of not only me but of the hubby too.  :P

National Youth Commission's 1st BLOGFEST

Hi everyone!!!


We are inviting bloggers to our (NYC) first BLOGFEST.  This is open to all bloggers and media writers who can help us promote our projects and programs for the Filipino youth. 

As part of the campaign to reach a wider sector of its target audience, the National Youth Commission is inviting new media writers to the 1st NYC BlogFest, a Bloggers Dinner with the NYC Officials on October 26, 2011 (Wednesday) at H Cuisine located in Scout Rallos St, Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The NYC, through its officials, will present the agency’s programs and projects about and for the Filipino youth. Program starts at 6:00 PM. Due to the limited space of the venue, priority seating will be given to those who will confirm their attendance before October 26. My Skater Boy

I am so happy that I have a husband who is very gentle, loving and has a very very long patience (LOL!).

We are college sweethearts, we go on secret dates back then.  We love food, walking and we do everything under the sun.

I am so very proud of him.  I always tell him that I am so very grateful I have him and will be forever be in love with him.

Now my skater boy that were once a bmx rider will soon become a great Chef!

Cheesecake, etc

It’s our first time to dine-in at Cheesecake, etc, Glorietta 4, Makati City, and it was fun.  We used the discount vouchers I bought at Metrodeal Philippines.  I really love buying discount vouchers, I get to have huge discounts and I also get to try different services that they offer (wink).

 I bought two vouchers priced at Php 250.00 each with a value of a Php 500.00 total of Php 1,000.00, isn't it a steal (bwahahahahh)!!!! Anything I do (stalking promos) just for food!

One, I was busy with work, then second with the coming home of the hubby…. (kilegs)!!!!

ChG Broken Hearted

Oh crackle!!! Yeah, China Glaze has its own line of cracking polish and I bought one (only) heheheh!  It's the Broken Hearted Crackle Glaze.  I love the dark pink that compliments all colors weeeeee!!!!  It was raved and I have to get atleast one hehehe (no more budget). And I am so very happy. See!

 I also bought the image plate where there's the legendary icons Monroe, Jackson, Marley etc....

I love it... looks so vintage! wowowweeeee!

Blue polish base is from Etude and then topped with the ChG polish.

Even I can't get to have the whole crackle line, I am still happy because of the color I chose to buy hehehe!!!

Papi's Birthday at Kamayan

June 22 was the 78th birthday of my father!  We celebrated it by dining at Kamayan restaurant in Padre Faura St, Manila.  We enjoyed all the dishes (Filipino dish) and I am so happy that my father enjoyed the night too!!!

Del Sol Color-Changing Nail Polish

I was excited when I heard from one of the members of FabUrNails (on facebook), Annie, that she sells Del Sol polishes.  I already made reservations for a set of the then raved polish because I kinda imagined it to be so magical (changing colors when you wear it outdoors).  But when I got back from my trip and made it delivered to m. I was frustrated because only one polish changed its color on me! (sigh)

Heartbreak, I love its redness and shimmer but it did not change into violet
when I put it under the scorching sun.

Island Fever, my least favorite of all, I thought it would change into that
dark color you see on the cap of the polish but it did not.

Ruby Slipper, my fave and you can see why.  I love to play with it under
the sun hahaha! I should have put on some sunblock.
