L'oreal Revitalift Eye Review

Today I am going to do a review of a product based on my experience using it for two and a half months.

Just two months and a half ago, I recognized fine lines on my eye area. Maybe because I am not getting any younger and must immediately find a solution to these ever horrible wrinkles boohoo! I have to look for an eye cream that is effective and that would fit my budget. And the search for the perfect eye cream had begun...

I started out with this product, L'oreal revitalift eye cream.

Over all Rating: 1/5!!!!!!!

I am very much disappointed! Why? Because after two months and a half of using this product, with all its promises, I only got syringomas!!! Not that obvious ones but hello, syringoma is syringoma! Heavens help me!

I've already stopped using this eye cream after I've noticed those little bumps on my eye area, I was afraid it would worsen or something to that effect. Still half full because I only used pea size in applying it. Thanks for concealers, cuz they hide these hideous bumps huhuhu!!!

Lastly, I would not recommend this product to anyone, based on my experience.

Bye for now dearies!!!! We're having our teambuilding activity right now... i just escaped hihihi!!!!

happy afternoon of wednesday to all!!!!

FOTD + NOTW = I'm Back and Lovin' It!

I'm back!!! I've missed you guys, really! I had lots of things to do and for today I am free to do some of the favorite things i love doing! For the past two weeks I had been busy with work and I was very much stressed out... in addition to that, the bad weather we'd been experiencing lately.

Last night, i played with mah stuff and very much relieved.... (my de-stressant if there's such kinda word!).

And here it goes...

Back to basics: Face and Cheeks

1. Prep my face with The Face Shop Professional Make up Base in green.
2. Warm Maybelline clear smooth aqua gel foundation in natural beige (too light for my skin tone but used it as well) by using my ring finger in blending.
3. The Body Shop concealer stick for pimple marks in No. 1.
4. Locked my foundation with artdeco mineral loose powder in No. 3
5. Contoured my face with Elf Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder and the The Body Shop Mineral Cheek Colour in Golden Terracota.

Eyes

1. Prep my eyes with artdeco's eyeshadow base. Putting eye primers makes the eyeshadow stay much longer. I used my palladio couture in herbal eyeshadow trio. Sorry guys my fault...so excited to post new blog I was not able to take a picture of any make-up used in this FOTD (sigh). Blend, blend, blend.
2. VOV in White on the browbone.
3. Avon Black Eyeliner for the lower waterline. In2it liquid eyeliner on the lashline.
4. Nichido Medium Brown Eye Pencil for my brows... (wonder why i used this one for this FOTD).
5. Used Fanny Serrano Eye lash Curler and Majorlica Majora Mascara for my eye lashes.

Lips

1. Put a dab of concealer so that my lip colour would last.
2. Patted Everbilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey (my shade for the month of july).
3. A little shine would'nt go wrong. I put The Body Shop's Hi-shine Lip treatment.

just ignore those little bumps i got from my previous stay at the Marikina Hotel.

I also got my nails done and I like my nails because blue is my fave color!!!

I'm glad to be back folks.... and I am really making a point to read all your posts...

That's for now dearies.... happy rainy Tuesday to all!

Sentimental

I'm being sentimental these days... maybe because it always rains here in the metro. But I guess there is something missing in my life right now. I know a lot of us experienced wanting something and not able to have it.

It's so easy to have material things... like if we want to have to buy necessities all we have to do is find a good and stable job, we want to have a stable job or a high salary we go and find good education and etc.

But some things that we eagerly want can't be bought in a store or find anywhere else, we would just wait for something to happen, for He has His own time.

Let's just wait and see... *wink* (all smiles).... as long as I have my faith... I will remain hopeful! For all I know God is so good all the time.

That's all now folks... have a happy tuesday!!! :)

The Natural Source: Australian Naturophatic Beauty

The Natural Source: Australian Naturophatic Beauty

Last Tuesday, I got myself a small haul at Glorietta. I passed by the The Natural Source Shop and I was glad I did because they have amazing products for low prices (SALE!). I tried their cosmetic line and I am so mesmerized with their colored pencil/liner Camouflage colour skin crayons with lots of colors to choose from! From Php 395 down to Php 95, where can you get that?!!!! (want to go back and buy again! sigh!)

Their crayons are so versatile that you could use it as eye liner, lip liner and brow liner, all in one but I only got to buy three colors because of budget constraints teehee!!! I got the colors light brown, teal and dark red! and I so really love it!!!

The texture is very creamy that you can easy glide it anywhere you put it, so pigmented and no smudging at all (as for me though). Really love the light brown because as I've read in an article recently that uso daw ung light brown for eye brows!!! And grabe ang ganda ng effect! parang ala Bea Alonzo ang dating *wink* (not the betty la fea kinda Bea ha!)

Light Brown, Teal and Dark Red Skin Crayons from TNS

Swatches!!!!

Look at my eyebrows! i luvvveeetttt!!!

Look at that color!!! so rich!!!

The red liner: put it all over my lips and tada!!!! vampilicious!!!!

No regrets buying from TNS and I would love to go back if only I have time and try more of their products!

AVON Glazewear Lipstick!

Hello peeps!

I am so excited about this lipstick that I bought from my AVON girl office mate! I never thought of how it would turn out wearin' it.

Its the AVON's glazewear lipstick in raspberry. It is a color-gel formula that delivers smooth, silky color and shine that lasts. I feel that I'm not wearing any lipstick at all because its lightweight and non-sticky compared to other lipstick. I think I love how it nourishes my lips and it made my lips pouty too!

pouty pouty!!!!

See that shine! Aww!

I also like how it was packed. Sleak and cute!

I'm thinking of buying other shades! (Adik!)

Anyweiz, thats for now sweeties! Oh! buy the way, I dropped by Makati area yesterday and got my Krispy Kreme GC... lookie, lookie!!!! And a little haul would'nt hurt my hubby's eyes teehee!!!!

The husband while waiting for our ordered coffee to arrive!

Blessed month of June

June is over and hello to the month of July!!! Days have been so busy that’s why I can’t believe we are already in July! Many things happened, activities here and there, every day’s ranting and in a blink of an eye here is July!!!!

Missed blogging, really and as I’ve told you the reason was my travel in Cagayan de Oro last June 24 to 29 to facilitate in the Kabataan sa Mindanao Natin Convergence, where we stayed at the Gardenia Resort. That long that I was missing everyone’s blog so much! Cagayan de Oro was another ordinary city for me but people are very accommodating and of course the most famous Pastel of Vjandep and the white river rafting, some extreme sports eh!

One of the participants, Rusty, as we called him is very talented that all of us requested to have a henna tattoo. Mine was so cute that I had to call the husband to tell him I got one! After the tiring event we indulged ourselves for some coffee break at Candy’s located at Limketkai Avenue or whatever that place was and ordered some coffee and pastries.

(my henna tattoo still unwashed)

I ordered for cold blends (that's Kat as you can see!)

super dupper delicious cakes

That's Lindy and Kat

The next day we went shopping of pasalubong while my other officemates tried white river rafting (kakainggit nga eh pero takot talaga ako!!!). We visited the bakeshop where the famous pastel is being sold. I also bought some shawl for me and for my best friend who’s in Singapore right now!!!! Some sweet delicacies and Muslim inspired bags (so cheap that I have to buy 2!).

the ever famous pastel of vjandep

colorful shawls

printed bags

Very tiring month of June but still I am very thankful that God made all this possible!!!!
Till next time!!!!
