How old is old...

Geezzz... it took me a century to post this tag from Blenda of Ohmygums!!!

Hmmm.... its kinda hard how we can tell a person is old, even if the person itself does not think he is, isn't it? We associate being old if we see gray hair, wrinkly face and those whose not into techie things such as ipod, laptop, internet, etc... but you see being old is associated with being wise.

At 32, I think I am old enough to know what I want in life but not too old to have fun. I remember when I hit the big 3O, I just had sleepless nights (LOLzzz), I don't know but I had the feeling that when I get to 30 above I might not enjoy life as much I enjoyed my 20s! But hell!!! Look at me, 32 and I had gained lots of fun, friends and knowledge!!!

I just have to have a happy spirit, friends and family and of course Faith in Him and I am not worrying about tomorrow.... I may age but the experience is worth it!!! Damned the technology, I can always learn it anyway hihihi!!!

An Orange and Burgundy EOTD!

Nothing much to do this rainy Saturday? Play with colors.....

Aside from tagging and giving yummy awards this week, like I said, I did this FOTD just so to please my nagging conscience, I've been neglecting my colors for a week right now. (sigh!)


For the face:
*I just cleaned and toned my face with Avon's Naturals Oil Control Toner.
**Prep it with TFS Make Up Base # 1 (green).
***Applied Maybelline Clear smooth aqua foundation using a wedge sponge.
****Concealed my blemish with MAC concealer in NW30.
*****I applied Artdeco mineral loose powder for a long wearing canvas.

For the eyes:
*Prep my eyelids with artdeco e/s primer.
**Lined my eyes with Fashion 21 e/s stick in white. And blend, blend, blend.
***With a full shadow brush, I applied a light shade in off white.
****Put an orange e/s from elianto using the back of the full shadow brush at the center of the lids.
*****Using a burgundy color, i created a v shape on the outside crease. Blend, blend, blend.
******Put the TBS and VOV e/s just below the brow bone.
*******Lined my eyelids with Revlon in dark brown.
********Used the same colors on my lowerlids.
*********For this FOTD i used hbc's falsies and coated it with TBS divide and multiply mascara in black.

I love my Everbilena palette... it's very affordable and yet very good.

For the cheeks:

TBS mineral blush for the contour.
Revlon Colorstay Mineral Blush in Roseberry

For my lips:

Skinfoods lippies in candy moist rouge.

I'm so Excited (and I just can't hide it!) LOLzzz!

My pre-buy Charm Holiday Brush Set has arrived.... I've been anticipating this very day that the mailman will knock on my door to announce the arrival of my babies....

The Body Shop's Olive Dry Oil Mists Review

Several days ago, I shared to you what happened on my visit to my dermatologist. I must say that what she gave me really works for my skin because within two days I saw improvement on my skin, those irritable rashes was gone and to my surprise my skin feels soft and supple.

I have also found a substitute to the lipid free liquid soap that my dermatologist had prescribed me...Cetaphil is very much likely to do the job!!! Thanks to Ohmygums for giving me the idea of checking this out! It's just that I am not used to taking a bath without bubbles teehee!!!!

And to my quest for natural products that would really give my skin extra moisture and nourish as well, I have come to a product that is very natural and I am loving it right now, The Body Shop's Olive Dry Oil Mists.

The Body Shop claims that it is a natural moisturizer for normal to dry skin. It also helps condition hair, and give it a silky shine. This product came from Italy and it is organic.

I love this product because though this is an oil based product, I am very much surprised that it is actually non-greasy... it dries fast and don't have an icky feeling after applying. What I also love about this is that it smells so fresh, actually it is addictive LOLzzzz!!!! FYI, I am loving this one compared to my Clinique and Victoria Secret Lotion.

See!!!! No shine (magic lolz!), this is after I've massage it on my skin!

And most of all no itching and reaction to this moment, maybe because it is organic! BTW I got this for free... I just used my TBS Love Your Body Card! I am so very happy that I want to get more for my future use hehehe! I am only saddened that in TBS stores here in the Philippines they don't have any variants only this kind.

For this product I'd like to give it 5/5!

FOTD: Shimmer Green and Purple e/s look

Tuesday!!!! Hmmmm.... it seems that Monday has passed and I am looking forward for Friday.... LOLzzzz!!!!! Isn't great! Me lovin' Friday a lot.... so obvious *wink*

For this Tuesday, want to share with you what I did last Sunday when I really get to play with my make-up... so relaxing.... so stress free!

What I did was a shimmer green and purple look... really don't know why i am into purple these days...

Products used:

Face: Avon Hydra Radiance Moisturizer, TFS Span Oil Control Pre-make up base, MaxFactor, Lasing Performance Liquid Foundation, MAC concealer in NW 30 EDM multitask intensive foundie, Artdeco Mineral Loose Powder #3

Eyes:
Artdeco e/s base, TBS concealer stick #1, Fashio 21 stick e/s/liner in pearl, kiss beauty 24 color e/s pallete (white), TBS Shimmer cubes in green shimmer, Gosh quattro e/s (dark teal), Elianto Shimmer e/s in lavander (crease), In2it Liquid liner, Avon ultra luxury eyeliner in black, fanny serrano eyelash curler, TBS divide and multiply mascara, Shisheido dark brown brow liner

Cheek:

Yay! hello peeps! It's a friday and for me its a FREEDAY! Just like you... yes you, whose been slaving herself from work... friday is really a blessing! (wag kokontara totoo naman!) Hmm.. two days of no work and full play... what else can I do... but of course spend time with my family and go window shopping LOLs!

BTW, want to ask if there's someone out there who knows any liquid soap that is lipid free? Last tuesday, I went to my dermatologist because I noticed some rashes on my arms... allergies daw and she said that I should stop using all body products because it could aggravate the problem. Sigh! She recommended me topical medicines but halleur it's way too expensive... I just bought two of them and it costs me 1200+ Php!!!!! OMG! I really need to find an alternative to the one I'm using right now! Please help!!!! SMS!!!! Save My Skin!!!!

Thanks ladies I know you could help... I could always rely on you!

FOTD + NOTW for a rainy wednesday!

I've been battling this idleness since monday people! Since we went back here in Manila I just want to go bed to snuggle and doze off, been absent in office since monday and tuesday, and yep, so lucky that August 5 was declared a holiday, thanks to Cory!

While mah hubby is busy with watching the live telecast of Cory's eulogy, I've got plenty of time playing with make-up! I got to try the eyeshadow I recently bought at elianto. And here it goes!

First I started with a clean face and just put on a little moisturizer. I used the TFS Makeup base in #1 (green), applied a little foundation, revlon colorstay (forgot the shade, pardon), concealer for pimple marks, MAC NW35 and artdeco mineral loose powder to set face.

For the eyes: I used artdeco eyeshadow primer, used the elianto lilac eyeshadow, TBS purple eye color, TBS cubes in gray and TBS matte flesh color for the crease, forgot ladies the color shade and numbers! Used Kate line shadow in shimmery gold for the inner lid. Lined upper and lower eyelids with Avon eye liner in black, curled my lashes with Fanny Serrano curler and TBS divide and multiply mascara in black.





For the lips and Cheek: I used the lippies i just bought from Skin Food and Cheek color from elianto. TBS Shimmer waves for the contour.

FOTD for the rainy day! Im wearin' yellow just to give courtesy to our Pres. Cory's day! Warning! Heavy pix!
